The culmination of the program at STARRY
is an excursion to the “Vault of Heaven”, Uluru, for the kids to experience
what Damon did when he climbed the Rock, namely permission to forgive
themselves.
o Sam might even ask Damon, his first cousin, 1x removed (who, granted, is in his early 60’s), to come and speak to the kids about his own experience there and the impact it had on the rest of his life
o Sam will ask Mutitjulu Aboriginals to speak to the kids about the Dreamtime and the spiritual significance of Uluru as well as to guide them on their experience of the sacred site
