My all-time favorite movie. I still remember when I was lying there in my bedroom, 10 years old, transfixed at this movie I had stumbled across on our new HBO subscription.
My personal favorite of the Star Trek movies.
I just adore this little gem of a movie. I watched this movie now 30 to 40 times, and, still, every time that I hear Joseph whisper on the recording, "My name is Joseph Carmichael", I get goosebumps. My favorite scene remains the one when John walks into the house and Joseph runs to his room, slamming every door along the way, reminding us that this is a child we're dealing with here, a child who truly lost the right to a long, happy life. John got angry with Joseph for his display of petulance, but, hey, the kid was entitled.
I enjoyed this movie as I
One of my best (and one of my few good) memories from my childhood was the night we went to see this movie. I remember sitting there, enchanted from the first moment to the last.
